A tea tree's growing environment affects the tea quality. This Puerh tea is made of old tea trees planted for over 50-100 years in Menghai county, Southern China. Every tea tree grows in non-pollution and the natural environment without interference from human activity, far from the city and industry. The natural environment provides us the premium quality tea leaves to make this Puerh tea.
This Raw Puerh Tea has been for over six traditional procedures to make it done; the procedures contain the plucking leaves, drying, rubbing leaves, sun drying leaves, steaming leaves, compressing the tea leaves into tea cake. Our raw Puerh tea retains more natural plant ingredients and flavors during the process than ripe Puerh tea.
The Raw Puerh tea doesn't need to be post-fermented as the ripe Puerh tea does. Its taste is different from the ripe Puerh tea. When you're drinking the tea, you'll immediately smell a mild fresh tea scent from the tea liquor. The first taste will get slightly bitter; then, a mellow and sweet aftertaste will be around in your mouth for a while; this is a distinctive drinking experience from ordinary green tea and black tea.
